Ladies and Gentlemen!
The State Fire Service is a professional rescue structure which has functioned since 1992. Firefighters during their daily duties save people’s lives and properties from fire and different kinds of emergencies. We cover chemical and ecological rescue during road accidents, construction catastrophes, floods and other natural disasters. In podlaskie region, there are over 1000 well trained firefighters of the National Fire Service and 140 units of the Voluntary Fire Service included in the National Firefighting and Rescue System. They are all dedicated and ready to bring help to people in needs during regular emergencies as well as non-standard and uncommon incidents.
